Mia ate whole wheat english muffin and ate blueberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, crackers, two servings of sweet potatoes, and two servings of cherries.
Mia spotted my daughter's pink Mini iPad laying on a chair and asked, "What is that?" I told her it was Christina's Mini iPad and she said, "Lauralea has a BIG iPad!" :)
Riley and Mia were playing in the big box and I thought it was cute how they were laying. (Shortly after I took this picture they were accusing each other of infringement! - "You have your head on my pillow!" - "No! You have your head on my pillow!") The ends of the box that you cannot see in the picture is where they each have a substantial amount of toys stashed.
Cooper and Mia were roaring (literally and figuratively) up and down the sidewalk while pushing the dump trucks! Their feet were a blur and they were "roaring!" All I could think of was skinned knees, but not this morning!! Whew! Mia was the first to take off with the truck and she yelled, "Come on Coop!" And away they went! :) Then later Mia was saying, "On three! One, two, three - go!" A great way of applying their newly learned number skills.
Mia was also being Nora's "puppy" again. A game that Mia loves by the way! Sometimes she loves it too much and is trying to lick everything! :) She told Nora, "I want a bone!" And then she was licking the concrete after Nora tossed her a "bone." She didn't seem to care either when I expressed my displeasure and explained that there are lots of germs and a lot of dirt on the sidewalk!! :)

7/30/2014
Mia ate a biscuit and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate baked beans, half of her dinner roll, ate peas, and two servings of pineapple.
Nora made a random announcement at meal time: "My Dad always takes a shower!" Mia said, "My Dad takes a shower too!" So I'm waiting to see if Riley is going to share any sort of insight about her family! She said, "Well, my Dad is at work!" LOL - Love these Kids!
Yesterday afternoon I was thinking about today's meals and I said, "Biscuit and ..." Mia finished the sentence for me; "Peaches!" She was right, so I thought I'd try the lunch menu. (I have a 4 week menu, so it's been that long since Mia had "biscuit and peaches.") Good job Mia! So I said, "Baked beans, dinner roll, peas, and ....." Cooper yelled, "Chicken!" LOL Good try Coop!"
We do not have Art Time as often in the nice weather because of spending as much time outside as we can. So it's been awhile since we have done any Dot Painting and the Kids spent lots of time working on it this morning. After that they played with the wooden building blocks on the patio. (I hadn't redone Mia's hair yet and you can see it hanging in her face.)

7/29/2014
Mia ate two servings of waffle and a bite of hash browns for breakfast. For lunch she ate beef & cheese quesadilla, carrots, and oranges.
The kids were at the window watching some birds when Mia and Matt arrived. They parked on Rainbow Drive and we watched them unload and head down the sidewalk. Cooper started saying, "Matt Matt.." Then Cooper joined Mia at the window to wave bye when he was leaving. Mia waved and said, "Bye Dad!" Cooper waved and said, "Bye!" Mia told him, "Say Matt; bye Matt!" :)
This is basically what a Toddler argument sounds like; Mia said, "Yes I can!" Nora responded; "Yes you can't!!" Mia, "Yes I can!" Nora, "Yes you can't!!" :)
I took this picture of Grace, a neighbor girl, talking to the kids. She's really a sweet kid and she remembers the names of the four Day Care children and greets each one individually. (I decided to show you this picture even though Mia is mostly hidden from view on the far side - you can see her ponytail!) Grace read Cooper's shirt (Born to Dribble), giggled, and said she liked it. This is a side note; Grace is carrying a small device (the name of which I'd never heard before!) and she was telling me everything it did, which included texting. "Texting is my favorite thing to do!!" How old are you?!? "Eight!" LOL She did stumble over my next question though; "So who do you text?" :)
Cooper is pulling Mia in the wagon in this picture and they were taking turns pulling. I like how Mia has her hands behind her head and she's just totally relaxing!
Mia fell on the sidewalk and it opened a scab from a previous fall and there was some blood.
However, she was being very brave and not crying or actually saying anything. She, and everyone
else, were closely watching me clean her knee and put on a bandaid. When I was done Mia
spoke and Nora exclaimed, "You can TALK!" (Like she'd been mute for a week!) LOL!

Mia ate most of her cheerios and ate banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate a couple bites of cheese sandwich, drank most of her tomato soup, and ate apple pieces.
All the kids were gathered around Lauralea watching her apply some makeup. She gave them something to hold for each hand. Mia looks very intent as she applies her makeup. :)
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were busy all morning. Mia looked at the books first thing and then went to the dolls and food toys. They had their "babies" and were pretending to sleep and snore. Riley and Mia kept saying, "Not morning time; don't wake up!!" Maybe they've heard that before! :)
Outside they played on the bikes and in the wagons. The three girls were riding their bikes down the sidewalk and Cooper was flying by them pushing the dump trucks as fast as he could travel. But we survived with no freshly skinned knees this morning!
Also outside they were each visiting their Grandma's house. Nora has a Grandma visiting this week and the Cline family went to the farm this past weekend so they went with that theme for their dramatic play. :)

Mia ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of ground beef, half of elbow noodles topped with shredded cheese, ate peas, and a large serving of applesauce.
Kenzie was here with us this morning before they left for the Farm at noon. She likes to help the kids with their bibs and she was trying to get Mia to hold her hair up while Kenzie tightened her bib. It wasn't going real smooth and Kenzie said (with frustration), "Come on Mia - Hold your hair!!" Mia apparently assumed Kenzie was a boss because she asked Kenzie, "Can I put my raisins in my bowl Kenzie?" LOL
Julie, Lauraleas' sister spent a second night with us, and Mia asked Lauralea this morning, "Where Julie at?" Lauralea told her that Julie was in the back room sleeping. Mia asked, "Julie's belly hurting?" LOL No, she's just tired!
I've been teaching the kids to hold the storm door open for their friends when we are going outside. It shuts pretty quickly when they just push through it and keep on going. It's very impressive how quickly the three "older" girls have learned to remember to hold it open. Good job!
We did some box decorating at art time with some different styles of duct tape I got. That tape is pretty sticky and several pieces ended in a big wad. But they were all still having fun with it.
We finished off the morning doing some sand play. Kenzie was squatting down when I took this picture so that worked good! Nora was also squatting (on the left) - probably because Kenzie had squatted down. :)
Here's a picture of another box they decorated.

7/24/2014
Mia ate two servings of whole wheat english muffin and ate blueberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate turkey sandwich, green beans, and two servings of strawberries.
The kids were all working on puzzles this morning and Mia does a good job with them. She will stay on task and complete several before she starts to get bored with them.
They all played with the blocks again! They built "motorcycles, sidewalks, houses, and lots of towers." In this picture Riley and Mia had built a blockade to try to keep Cooper out of the igloo. So he was just dangling the stuffed animals from the top of the igloo entrance - threatening to invade with his animal kingdom! :)
The kids played with the boxes outside and Mia was doing what Riley did - calling the box their "garage!"
We moved a Grandfather Clock into the living room and it's rather large and also chimes, etc. The kids were all impressed and Riley said, "That clock make a noise!" Cooper was like, "Ooohhhh!" Then Mia and Riley were building a tall yellow legos tower and Riley said, "That our clock!!" :)

Mia ate cinnamon roll and dried plums for breakfast. Nora was the first one to sit down at the breakfast table and she said, "Mia is sooo tired!" Why do you say that? "She's playing sooo hard!" When Mia sat down Nora asked her, "Are you tired?" :) For lunch Mia had bites of scrambled eggs, hash browns, and cheese combo, ate waffles, and bites of cantaloupe.
A woman from the Food Program came and checked on us making sure my paperwork was in order, looked at our menus, checked the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator, etc.. The kids were looking at her computer and Mia asked, "Do you have any movies on there?" LOL (Gary doesn't let us look at movies; maybe she will!?!) When she left Nora said, "I like that woman; she's not a boy!" (I don't interpret this stuff, I just report it!) :)
The kids had so much fun painting on the cardboard boxes outside. When we first went out it started to lightly sprinkle and Riley informed me, "It's ok to paint in the rain Gary!" :) I took this picture so you could see everyone waiting patiently at their boxes for me to start putting some paint on for them. Sorry everyone - I just need to take a quick picture! :)
Here's Mia painting with a brush shortly after we got started. Riley soon asked if she could use her hands to paint and everyone was in favor of that! Mia painted half of this box (about three sides) before she started to get a little bored. (And that's when she started to paint her legs!) :)

Mia ate half of her breakfast: cheerios and mixed fruit. For lunch she ate ham sandwich, peas, and two servings of mandarin oranges.
I've posted LOTS of pictures of Mia feeding her babies. However, I like this one because you can see her "baby" is a Tiger cub. :) Mia was singing, "Rock-a-bye-Baby..." And Nora said, "Stop singing Mia! I don't like that song!" :) Geez! So I informed Nora that actually I am the one in charge and Mia could sing if she wanted to. (They all receive frequent reminders of who runs the show!) :)
Mia (the first one here today as usual) accompanied me to the garage and we got some bird feed and refilled the bird feeders. There were probably 10 - 12 birds on the fence and at the feeder. Here's a picture of Mia, Riley, and Cooper watching them.
Riley, Mia, and Nora were playing Hide-n-seek in the igloo. Not too many places to hide in there, but they don't care! :) Then Nora was saying, "We're going to the lake Riley!" Mia chimed in with, "Picnic at swimming pool Riley!" And of course that was the beginning of an argument - Lake or Pool for the picnic! :)
We played outside for awhile, but they (especially Mia and Cooper) were getting pretty exhausted by 11:00 so we sang songs on the patio and did sign language. Mia does so well with the signs - I'm very proud of how well she does.

Mia ate half of her brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate meat loaf, bites of pita bread, ate carrots, and a large serving of watermelon.
I took this picture yesterday afternoon because it basically represented the Toddler version of running through the sprinkler. They lined-up along the wall and shouted encouragement for one person to run and then they'd all cheer. As you can see in the picture Riley is apparently up to bat and ready to run! Cooper was the only one who ran directly over the top of the sprinkler and also stopped there a couple of times. Nora, on the other hand, did not get touched by a drop of water! :)
Here's a picture of what the sun looked like while we were eating breakfast. Cooper saw it and was saying, "moon moon moon!" And they were all pretty convinced it was the moon so that was fine with me! Anyone reading this outside of Missoula - the sun is somewhat blocked today by a smoky haze! By the time we went outside it was shining brighter. Mia still called it the "moon" and Nora was not impressed!
They were doing lots of running and having fun this morning. Riley was saying to Mia, "I'm going to take you to the doctor!" However, as you can see by the picture, she may not be in complete control here! :)
Cooper was hitting Mia and I was having him give her a love and a "gentle touch." (He knows exactly what that means and will gently rub their arm when I ask him to give a gentle touch.) He was still whimpering a minute or two later and Mia was saying to him, "It's ok Buddy!" :) I'm not sure what message that was sending, but it was still pretty cute!
Mia was riding her bike with her eyes closed and head tipped back. I'm thinking "this is not good!" I don't think "closed eyes" was a contributing factor, but shortly after that she took a tumble on the sidewalk and got a scratch just above her left eyebrow. It's not a deep scratch (did not bleed), but I applied a cold cloth with a little ice pack in hopes that it would not swell. And so far it hasn't, but we'll see what it looks like after nap time.

Mia was with one of her Grandmas this morning so I will not be posting a journal today. She arrived at Day Care at 11:25. Just in time for lunch!

7/16/2014
Mia ate two servings of whole wheat bagel and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her ham, mac-n-cheese, lettuce salad, and ate her corn.
I got out the sit-n-spins and everyone played on them a long time this morning. In this picture Mia is trying to hold a small stuffed animal in her left arm and still make the thing spin. She caught on pretty quick how to make it go around.
When we were playing with the draw and erase boards (I can't remember what they are called, but you can see in the picture below), Nora held her's up to show me what she was drawing. I said, "It looks like Chinese!" Nora went with it and said, "Yup! It's Chinese! And I'm going to do Chinese again!" Cooper said, "I do cheese!!" And held his up to show me too. LOL And of course Mia started saying, "I do Chinese too! I do Chinese!"
Mia asked Riley if she could fix her hair and Riley was fine with it. And it was so cute to watch. Mia said, "I put braid in it!" And Riley said, "I want yellow!!" (Referring to ponytail holders.) So Mia was pretending to hold out a container and Riley was choosing. Mia kept holding out "choices" and Riley kept saying, "White and Yellow!" Mia would suggest "pink!" They were laughing about that. Then Mia grabbed Riley's head and kept turning it and saying, "Look at Cooper!!" When we're doing hair we give them something to look at so they'll hold their head still. "Look at that poster!" We never choose a "moving target" like Cooper. :) They were having lots of fun with it. And Mia wasn't really being too gentle with Riley's ponies, but Riley was tolerating it very well!
Cooper took off pushing the wagon really fast and he crashed this morning. Riley and Mia thought that was entertaining and they roared! Cooper was not hurt so he got up and started crashing on purpose to make Riley and Mia laugh over and over. :)

Mia had two servings of waffle and ate pears for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her tuna, ate several crackers, ate sweet potatoes, and a large serving of oranges.
Riley and Mia were playing with the blocks (you can see the "sidewalk" they are sitting on), their babies, and then Riley started working on Mia's hair. I think it's so cute when they do that. And that's the reason you get a picture every time!! :)
There was a big "daddy long-legs" spider on the patio and when Riley spotted it she screamed (loud!), "SPIDER!" I stepped on it, but she went and stepped on it too. Then she didn't like it on the bottom of her shoe and said, "Get spider off shoe Mia!" So Mia was trying to pick it off! :) (Yes Mommy, I told her it was yukky and we washed her hands, but I really had to get a picture of her helping her friend Riley!!)
The girls were playing "going to the doctor" again. Nora started it by announcing, "I gotta get Mia to a doctor!" Mia heard her say that and replied, "I better now!" :) So Riley joined in and said, "I gotta take Nora to the doctor!" And then she looked at Nora and said, "You gotta be brave!" Then she looked at Mia and said, "Pup! Come on!" (At this point Mia was on her hands and knees being a puppy.) Riley gave a long stem of grass to her puppy, looked at me with a smirk and said, "That's Mia's bone!" LOL Cooper got down on the ground and started being a puppy with Mia. Riley announced that they were all "going to Walmart - get doughnuts!" :)
Another game they were playing this morning - Nora was pretending to sleep and Mia kept saying, "Time for school, time for school, time for school, wake up, wake up wake up!" :)

Mia ate most of her breakfast; chex cereal and mixed fruit. For lunch she ate half of her roast beef sandwich, drank tomato soup, and ate apple slices.
This picture of Mia climbing on the mattress was taken Friday afternoon. The Friday before Toy Exchange we always load the washer full of Daycare washables (including the mattress cover) and I stand the mattress up so they can run around it. They started climbing and I had to take some pictures.
And another picture from Friday - after climbing up the mattress they did lots of running around the climber. I don't have to make many changes in the room (just move the toys a little) and it's a whole new setup for them! Also, I wanted to mention something else from Friday afternoon that I thought was pretty funny; Mia was being Riley's "puppy," but she wasn't the most obedient puppy! Riley said, "Pup! You're NOT a listener!"
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Mia filled the fanny packs full of toys. She also played with the dolls and in this picture is is mimicking something she saw Lauralea doing earlier in the morning. It's a "walk walk walk...trot trot trot...gallopy gallopy.." game.
We were reading a book about "monkeys hum and monkeys drum..." and these three went to the drums and started drumming. :)

Mia ate oatmeal and half of her dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her hash brown casserole, half of biscuit, and ate mandarin oranges.
Riley and Mia were playing in the big box. Riley was on the other side doing basically the same thing Mia was doing on this side - laying there guarding their accumulation of LOTS of toys! :)
The kids had fun chasing bubbles this morning. It's kind of tricky trying to get some big bubbles floating around and take a picture at the same time! Mia was saying, "I can't reach it, I can't reach it!" You can see a bubble just out of reach of her fingertips. So the rest of "bubble time" Cooper was walking around saying, "reach it, reach it." :)
Mia was messing with the end of a piece of twine I use to tie the little fence to the post. She asked, "Can you help me with this Riley?" (And kept repeating it.) Riley finally replied; "No, I can't. It's too windy!" LOL There actually was a little breeze, but I'm not sure what that had to do with anything. So Mia asked Cooper for some help, but wasn't too appreciative of the "help" he offered!
Mia played with the dress-up clothes; shirt, pants, and swim goggles. And she was using a blanket for a jacket. Then it was swim time in the pool again! "I go swimming!" Then it was, "I cold in the pool." So they were using blankets as their coats to keep them warm.

Mia ate whole wheat cinnamon toast and two servings of cantaloupe for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of turkey slice, ate crescent roll, most of green beans, and ate mangoes.
I was putting the crescent rolls in the oven this morning when Mia arrived and she asked what I was doing. So I told her and she said, "Thank you for sharing with me Please!" :)
Later when I took her potty she was talking about how big she is getting and the fact that she doesn't wear diapers anymore. Except she said it this way; "I don't wear Pants anymore!" LOL
The kids were putting on the swim goggles and jumping in the pool! Mia kept saying, "Time to go swimming, time to go swimming!" So, here's a picture of her going swimming!
Riley was leading the group in lots of play this morning. "Ok, everybody line up!" Then she was taking pictures of the group; "Ok, everybody say cheese!" Then she had them sitting on the table bench; "Everyone want to sing a song?" However, the pretend "potty" game was making me a little nervous. ("I go potty, ok?") Especially when Mia lifted up her dress and I was hoping she did not really go!! And she didn't! "Whewww!"
Riley yelled, "Spider!" this morning in the house and this time there really was a live spider! (We've had LOTS of false alarms lately!) :) I got a tissue and took care of it and there was instant raucous cheering by all the kids! :) Liked I've mentioned before Mia has not been afraid of the bugs, but the reactions of the other kids have changed her perception of them somewhat I think!!

Mia ate whole wheat toast and most of her mixed berries for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ham, crackers, and bean & bacon soup; she ate her strawberries.
Mia was playing with Cooper in the igloo and they were pulling a large stack of blocks in front of the entrance to block the entrance. I'd just noticed that Cooper was starting to smell and I was going to change his diaper as soon he came out. But it didn't seem to bother Mia; they just kept on playing in that small area! Yikes!
I included this picture in Mia's journal because I thought it was cute where she and Cooper are playing under the Big Bear (in the background). You can see the top of Mia's head and Cooper's head is right next to her by the yellow bench piece. They were snuggled right down under the bear. (That's Cooper's sister Riley in the foreground.)
Nora was saying, "You can get in my wagon Mia!" Mia was busy with the dump truck so Cooper jumped in. Mia was racing up and down the sidewalk pushing that dump truck as fast as she could go. Which was making me nervous because she can go fast! I don't know how many times I've suggested; "Run on the grass; it will not hurt as much when you fall!"
Mia was also super busy outside on the slides, bikes, climbers, and throwing the balls around. We are spending more time outside in the mornings during this time that it's getting so hot in the afternoons.

Mia ate two servings of whole wheat bagel and ate apricots for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, half of her whole wheat elbow noodles topped with shredded cheese, ate peas, and applesauce.
This is a picture of what Mia was doing with her blanket after Daddy dropped her off at Daycare. And she continued to play this way for several minutes.
Here's a picture of the three girls working on the same legos project. This doesn't happen too often. Probably the last time it happened I posted a picture too!! :)
I haven't posted a "meal picture" for a long time so I took this one at lunch today. Cooper was eating some chicken and he had some hanging off his chin. Riley and Mia found that quite amusing and were laughing.
After Story Time I heard Mia repeating some of what we'd just read. "Yawn yawn yawn my sleepies out...." She know lots and lots of the songs and stories we sing and read!
I've mentioned this before, but Mia does an awesome job of helping during "pick up the toys" time. Mia is such a "routine oriented little girl" and this is another area where we use it. Her primary chore every day is picking up the books and she's super efficient and good at it. And she will also pitch in with the rest of the toys if I need the help. Good job Mia.

Mia ate half of her bran cereal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her cheese pizza, ate corn, and ate tropical fruit. At the lunch table Riley's cup fell on the floor and Mia quickly jumped down and picked it up for her. She said, "I be good friend to Riley and Nora!" It obviously made her feel good while being a helper!
The kids were gathered around Lauralea watching her put on some make-up in front of the mirror. Lauralea was passing around some of the make-up for the kids and each of them were getting a turn with each part. Riley had already passed three of them on to Mia and Mia kept saying, "Can you share with me, can you share with me, can you share with me.....!?!" Riley finally said, "No; no way!!" It was pretty funny!
Mia played with the dolls and blankets and was using an "ice cream cone" to feed her baby. She read lots of books and played with the building blocks with Riley. They were inside a block structure they'd built and Riley was examining Mia's nose. She said, "You have boogies!!" Mia said, "I don't have boogies!!" Then outside Cooper kept saying, "Bug bug bug bug....!" Mia finally said, "I don't see a bug!!" (I didn't either!)
Mia was pretty exhausted by 11:00. We were playing outside and she went over and was just laying on the bench on the patio and every little thing was upsetting her. (Those three day weekends are exhausting!!) :) So we ate a little early and she was asleep quickly. Several times she was crying - "Cooper hit me, Cooper hit me, Cooper hit me!" I was watching pretty closely; especially after the first time and it was true some of the time and some of the time he was just passing by and barely bumped her. But she's in the middle of a good nap right now, so that will help a bunch!!

Mia ate whole wheat english muffin and blueberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, crackers, sweet potatoes, and cherries.
This picture was taken yesterday afternoon and the kids were enjoying playing in the water. I'm sure you all can figure it out, but Mia is in the back.
Kenzie was here this morning and here's a picture of her reading to Mia. She read to all the kids individually and they were all loving the attention from her.
I had this conversation with Darcy this morning, but I just wanted to remind all parents that this time of year always produces skinned knees with the children wearing shorts and then running up and down the sidewalk, pushing toys on the concrete, riding the bikes, etc. I try to encourage them to run on the grass, but invariably they fall on the patio, sidewalk, or somewhere and without the protection of pants or leggings......we see the skinned knees every year! Kenzie was looking at Riley and Cooper's knees this morning and said, "They both have the same owies!!"
Kenzie likes to lead the activities when she is here and Mia is ok with that for awhile, but she also likes to do her own thing too. Here's a picture of Kenzie having the others in the wagons (and Nora in the play house) all arranged the way she wants them arranged. (Mia is in the red wagon.) It was about at this point that Mia was growing weary of being bossed around!! :) However, Mia does like the extra energy and activity that Kenzie brings to the table! They were jumping on the mattress like crazy kids and playing wildly on the climber. Nora watched from a distance and said, "This a movie!" :)

Mia ate half of her biscuit and ate peaches for breakfast. At the breakfast table Mia announced, "I have hiccups!" Riley said, "Sometimes you puke when hiccups!" Mia said, "I don't puke." Riley said, "Kenzie puke at home!" :) For lunch Mia ate a large serving of baked beans, ate dinner roll, a large serving of peas, and a large serving of pineapple. Right after lunch Mia said to me; "You're my best Gary now!!" :)
The kids were "swimming" again and I took this picture of Mia with the dark swim goggles. Note the dress-up pants she's wearing too. She lifted up her dress this morning and said, "I don't have pants!" And she went over and put on these pants. :)
Right after Mia arrived this morning she was talking about "TiTi." Lauralea asked her, "Does Gary have a dog?" She thought about it for a moment and said, "No; he have to fly in airplane and get another book!" LOL Now that was random! However, it was pretty cool because I did bring back a board book for the kids from Alaska! Not so sure what it had to do with the dog question!! :)
The kids were playing outside and Nora announced from the play house on the patio "Dinner ready!" Everyone went running over there and a minute later Riley yelled, "Spider!" Everyone vacated the play house way faster than they went in! Cooper is getting interested in bugs, but the tone of Riley's voice was enough to frighten him! :) Mia really isn't afraid of bugs either, but Nora and Riley yelling about the bugs has made her much more aware of them. (Right now she's basically the only one not afraid of bugs.) They were also playing with the little balls and had them tucked up under their shirts and dresses. Nora said, "I have my baby under here; my baby Sophie." Riley said, "My baby Cooper." And Mia was tucking a ball under her shirt and said it looked like "Mommy Molly!"
Here's the link to some pictures on Snapfish.com if anyone is interested. They start with a picture I took flying into Skagway, Alaska and they end with some pictures taken from a little plane heading to Juneau. (The camp on the Glacier is a Dog Mushing Camp.) The guy with the longer hair and big pack was the Porter I hired. It's also his feet with the big blister. Poor guy. However, he never complained and he did an awesome job. Mia had two servings of waffles and ate hash browns for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her beef & cheese quesadilla, half of her carrots, and ate oranges.
This is just an FYI thing, but yesterday and this morning Mia has been saying, "My mouth hurts." She held her mouth wide open for me and I got a pretty good look this morning, but I couldn't see anything. She's been pointing to the same spot every time. (On the left side - her left side.)
I took this picture when Mia was playing her "piano" and singing LOUDLY. It was unrecognizable to me, but she said, "That Frozen song!!" :) I've not seen the movie or heard the song. Cooper soon joined in and he was also playing a piano and singing LOUDLY! :)
We have this routine outside - when one of the girls has to go potty they/or me yell, "Potty Run!" And they all sprint for the house. Whoever has to go potty heads directly to the bathroom and the other three play in the big room, waiting to go back outside. The same routine every time. Even Cooper will frequently be the first one to the door when he hears, "Potty Run!" :)
I think it's funny (and cute) when Mia will make a statement or ask a question and rather than wait for an answer, she'll comment or answer for herself. Here's a couple of examples; Something happened on the bike and she said, "Ow ow ow - I'm gonna be ok!" And she went right back to playing. Yesterday a light burned out in the Day Care room and I needed a ladder to fix it, so I brought one in from the garage and leaned it against the wall. I soon realized Mia was saying, "Don't touch the ladder - ok, I won't. Don't touch the ladder - ok, I won't!" :)
