Mia ate whole wheat bagel and dried apricots for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat 'curly' noodles with peas and cheese, and ate applesauce.

Nora was laying on the scarf and Mia immediately sat down and started patting her back.

I made a comment about baby Cooper; "You're sure drooling Cooper!"  Mia ran over and bent down to check it all out.  :)  I love how she's understanding language so well.  She's a good listener here for us and responds when we give her directions; Even if it's something she may not particularly want to do.  For example; moving away from a toy someone else has.  She is doing so well with that.

I was preparing Cooper for his morning nap and Mia started yelling, "Night night" to him.  :)  Then she saw a spoon (from the food toys) in the lunch room.  Someone had put it through the gate.  Mia started saying, "Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh!"  That's one of Mia, Nora, and Riley's primary things to say.  They are always spotting something unacceptable!  :)

She was sitting in the big chair reading books and Rae joined her.  I think it looks so cute when they sit side-by-side and read books.  Then Rae got down and sat on the yellow bench to read some more and invited Mia to join her.  A few minutes later Rae was letting Mia 'work' on her hair.

Monday, April 29, 2013

Mia ate half of her bran cereal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate cheese pizza, corn, and tropical fruit.

Here's a picture of Mia ready to go somewhere!  She wanted help putting on the dress-up shoes and then grabbed her purse like she was ready to go.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and Mia was having fun sorting through everything.  She played with the food toys and Emily was serving her cakes and cookies.  (They are actually pretty realistic looking!)

Mark told Emily bye and Mia goes racing for the window to wave bye to him too.  It was funny when baby Noah's mom left; Mia was trying to get him to go to the window to wave bye too.  She kept looking at him and pointing at the window like "get over there!"  :)

I think I've mentioned before that in the big room we keep all the toys on one side; away from the mattress and rowdy side.  (Primarily so kids don't get hurt by having the toys on the mattress.)  Anyhow, Mia totally gets the idea and never hauls the toys to that side.  She saw baby Noah crawling with some toys on that side and she started saying, "Oh oh, oh oh, ...!!"  So I told her he was just a baby and didn't understand the rules yet.  Which I also thought was funny because she's not much more than a "baby."

Friday, April 26, 2013

Mia ate malt-o-meal cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground burger with spaghetti sauce, whole wheat elbow noodles, lettuce salad (ranch dressing), and mixed fruit.

Mia spent lots and lots of time on the climber and jumping on the mattress.  Here's a picture of her sitting on the yellow part and then going off.  She thought this was quite funny and I have no idea how many times she did this over and over.

Every morning this week her routine after Mom left was to sit on the floor, take off her shoes, and go put them on the changing table.  She can barely reach to put them up there and she likes doing it.

The kids were asking for music and the first song to play was "Baby Beluga" and there were about seven or eight of them dancing like crazy.  Mia was in the middle of it of course and jigging up and down and bobbing her head sideways.  :)

The first thing she did outside was to push one of the wagons around.  If a toy or something got in the road it would only temporarily slow her down, she'd just push it out of the road.  Then Aaron was giving her a ride in the wagon again just like he was yesterday.  She also pushed the dump trucks up and down the sidewalk.

Thursday, April 25, 2013

Mia ate raisin english muffin and blueberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken and crackers, two servings of sweet potatoes, and canned cherries.

This first picture of Mia was taken yesterday afternoon.  I just thought it was cute how she was watching Tate (Reid's oldest brother) play a game.  Little Miss Curiosity has to check out everything!

Mia was playing with the dolls again and had one wrapped up with a blanket and was snuggling it.  Then she decided to try to wear some of the dolls clothes so I had to take a picture.  :)

Mia and Riley were getting up face-to-face and rubbing noses.  Then they'd back off and giggle at each other and do it again.  It was super cute and they must have done that a dozen times.

Then I guess Riley didn't want to do it anymore and Mia was just walking towards her.  Riley yells, "Mia bugging me!"  :)  Sometimes our friends are fickle!

Mia was pulling Nora and Riley in the wagon.  She is so tough, but her driving skills are not equal to the task.  Thomas would get the wagon back on the sidewalk and away they'd go!  :)

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

Mia ate peaches and two biscuits for breakfast.  For lunch she ate baked beans, half of her dinner roll, ate peas, and pineapple.

We brought out some cars from the back rooms and they were having fun driving them around and around on the 'track' around the table.  Mia and Nora would inevitably go in opposite directions and then it was a war of wills on a road wide enough for only one car!  :)  And of course it only got more interesting as several more kids joined in.  (The morning rush hour!)  We did manage to get them all going in the same direction.

Darcy, Mia had a good morning.  She did hang on to her blanket and binky a little longer than usual, but that's the only thing I saw different this morning.  (She rarely touches her blanket after you leave.)  It was a very normal morning here so I was glad about that.

When baby Reid came she was saying, "eed, eed,..."  She also played with a doll and had a blanket wrapped around it (sort of) and was singing, "night night, night night..."  Very sweet and cute.  :)

She read lots of books this morning.  She was sitting in the chair and patting on the seat for RaeAhnna to sit up there and join her.  Rae would crawl up, sit there for two seconds, and away she'd go.  And Mia thought that was funny.  :)

Mia is so CURIOUS when I'm changing diapers in the back room.  She gets excited and starts flapping her arms saying, "Oooooouuuuuuuu.."  Then she squats down very close and watches the procedure.  Thomas was trying to push her back a little.  However, he was exactly like that at her age!  He would get so excited and couldn't get close enough.  Of course he doesn't remember that!!  :)

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

Mia ate waffle and hash browns for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, half of her brown rice, ate peppers, and oranges.

Mia is wearing the wolf mask which goes with the Three Little Pigs story.  The kids just like to put the wolf mask on and chase each other.  :)  Except yesterday the pigs were chasing the wolf!

Lauralea was doing some ponytails and Mia stood there patting her tummy telling Lauralea that she was next.  :)  When Lauralea was done she was saying something that sounded like "thank you" and she was also doing the sign language for "thank you."  Good job Mia!

Have you noticed how often her hands are cold?  I can frequently feel the cold through my shirt or pants when she touches me!  Brrrrr.  And it's even when the rest of her is warm.

She was being silly on the mattress; rolling around and flopping over sideways, etc.  Then she was coming to me over and over again to give me "five."  And she was the one who initiated it.

We were listening to a new Kid's CD that Nora brought us and Kenzie was leading Mia and Nora around by the hand and also doing some dancing.  Thomas thought that looked like fun and was wanting to lead Mia around, but she wanted no part of that!  :)

Monday, April 22, 2013

Mia ate most of her cheerios and ate banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate cheese sandwich, drank tomato soup, and ate apple pieces.

Mia was having fun with the dress-up clothes and as you can see especially the shoes.  She worked hard at getting them on several times this morning.  The dress-up clothes provide them with lots of fun, but also good practice for getting dressed.

This is one of their favorite places to play.  Mia is peeking through the hole in the center of the table and Thomas is on the floor under the table.  They like to look through at each other and poke toys back and forth.  :)

Emily was giving Mia permission to wave bye to her daddy at the window this morning.  She said, "You can wave at my Mark!"  :)  Which is actually very sweet.  Sometimes the waving "bye" at the window in the morning is a cause of "infant and toddler squabbles."

Mia was doing Riley's hair this morning.  They were sitting in the same 'salon chair' (climber steps) that Mia and Nora usually use.  I couldn't believe that Riley was sitting and letting Mia do that!  Mia would work on it and then kept reaching to the window sill for different products to put on Riley's hair.  :)

Friday, April 19, 2013

Mia ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles with peas and cheese, and ate applesauce.

Mia used her binky until almost breakfast today.  That's probably the longest she's used it here for a long time.  She'll usually bring it to me or just drop it and I'll put it on her cubby.  Today she was dropping it and it seemed like Nora was there every time picking it up and putting it back in Mia's mouth.  So maybe it wasn't that she really wanted it, Nora was just in the right spot at the right time.  :)

Mia did lots of playing on the climber and mattress.  She'll stand on the little climber and watch others jump off, but she's not quite ready for that yet.  But she loves bouncing and rolling around on the mattress.  (I'm assuming she loves it from all the grins and giggles.)  :)

Our lawnmower is in the shop so we had a friend of ours bring his lawn-care business by and mow for us.  The kids were all packed on the step at the window to watch and it was the highlight of the morning.  (Especially for the 'older' ones.)  Mia would watch for a minute, wander off and play, then come back and watch for another minute.  She was kind of like: "What's so special about this?"  :)

Mia also played with legos, looked at lots of books, played on the spinning chair, and stole my chair whenever the opportunity presented itself.  She colored with markers for a minute or two before she started wanting to eat them.  :)

Thursday, April 18, 2013

Mia ate english muffin and blueberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of turkey burger, ate most of steamed green beans with bacon bits, and ate kiwi.

Mia had pulled the empty wagon down the sidewalk to the gate.  Thomas was down there and recognized the golden opportunity.  He gets in her wagon and starts yelling, "Go Mia, go Mia!"  :)  Hey, it was worth a try!

She waved at mommy this morning and then yelled "bye, bye, bye.." waving at Emily's dad again.  Some school kids were walking bye and she and Emily waved at them too.  Then when the kids looked at the window Emily ducks down saying, "hide hide..."

Her little nose is still running steady.  I'm going to state the obvious; over the years we've always noticed the strong correlation between the most 'oral' kids and the ones who have regular runny noses.  Mia just happens to be one of those who puts everything in her mouth.  (And we've had lots of kids who do that.)  She took her binky out before 8:00 (and that's normal for her here), but then she had something in her mouth almost every time I looked at her.  I guess the upside is that she should have a strong immune system someday.

She read lots of books, played with legos, and was down on the floor with baby Noah saying, "Hi, hi, hi, hi...." to him.  He loves it when the kids interact with him.

She also played in the spinning chair in the back room again.  Thomas, Joslyn, and Kenzie had it flying around and around.  Mia was watching and just waiting for a chance to climb on!

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

Mia ate jelly toast and two servings of dried mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate beef & bean burrito, sweet potatoes, and tropical fruit.

A service man from the Missoula Fire Equipment store comes here once a year to service (charge) our fire extinguishers.  He got here about 10:00 and parked across the street.  I had the extinguishers ready at the door and he took them out to his service truck.  So all the kids were lined up at the window watching him.

Mia had a pretty normal morning.  You know, running all over playing with toys and trying to grab toys that the other kids are playing with.  It's their fault; they make it look too fun!  :)  It's just so hard to resist temptation.  Especially when you're wired with a double dose of curiosity!

She played with the phones and on the mattress in the middle of everyone jumping and being rowdy.  She also likes the sets of keys we have.  We found a bunch of old keys in my father-in-law's shop and we made up several sets and the kids love them.

Joslyn played with Mia in the spinning chair in the back room.  Mia rode while Joslyn pushed that thing  around and around as fast as her little legs could go.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Mia ate most of her cinnamon roll and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she had a bite of scrambled eggs, bites of waffle, ate hash browns, and ate cantaloupe.

Mia was trying to put on one of the masks and then brought it to me.  This is the grandmother from the "Red Riding Hood" story.  We have several more masks that go with this story.  She was in front of the mirror so you can see it from two sides!  :)

Mia played with the phones for much of the morning.  She was talking on them or at least packing one around the majority of the time.

She went up to Nora and bent over a little with her head tilted in front of Nora's face and said the sweetest "hi."  And Nora responded likewise with a sweet "hi."  It was so cute.  I love those moments.

And then the next moment: No, actually some time later.  :)  Nora was on the floor "visiting" with baby Cooper.  Mia decided to crawl between them and there wasn't much space for a third person.  Nora had Mia by the ponytail and was yelling for help.

Monday, April 15, 2013

Mia ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ham sandwich, most of peas, and most of mandarin oranges.

The kids have figured out they can sit on these toys and make the balls spin around.  (And they'll bounce up and down to make them work.)  Mia has a proud look on her face.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and it's always a busy morning when we do that.  Mia played with several different toys, but still did her 'wandering around' too.  She found one of the sets of keys and was very interested in those.  Lauralea's dad had lots of old keys in his shop so we cleaned those up and we now have several sets.

She also played with the phones again.  I think we have phones in every one of our toy sets.  That's a toy they never seem to get tired of.  She was holding one up to her ear and walking around saying, "Hi, hi, hi ....."

She came packing one of her shoes to me and was saying, "Ah shoe, ah shoe,.."  (Kind of like she was sneezing!)  I told her to put it on the changing table so she goes right over and reaches up and puts it there.  Thank you for listening Mia.  Then she sits down, takes off the other shoe, and puts it up there too.

We were in the back room and they were anticipating Kenzie or Joslyn to come back and make the announcement that they could get their bibs for lunch.  Nora and Mia were down on the floor peeking under the door.  :)

Friday, April 12, 2013

Mia ate bites of brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of her meat loaf, ate french bread, carrots, and dried apricots.

Darcy, we haven't seen that shoe insert of Mia's.  I really don't think it's here, but the daycare will be getting a thorough cleaning this weekend so we'll know for sure.  The kids are all so good at bringing us ANYTHING unusual they find.  We have some "details" kids and they find the smallest, most obscure things imaginable.  Little bitty Riley is one of those.  :)  She's always bringing me one of Mia's shoes as soon as Mia takes it off or loses it.  However, we'll be watching for it over the weekend.

Shortly after you drove by this morning another car went by.  Mia was still at the window and started yelling "Bye" and waving real big.  We laughed hard at that.  :)  And before she even got off the step from waving she took her binky out of her mouth and handed it to me.  And she was done with it!

Mia was mad when Nora wouldn't sit down for her hair appointment today.  She was patting the step where Nora usually sits and yelling for her.  :)

In the back room I frequently change the kids on the floor.  There's not much room on the little changing table back there.  And there are no steps for them to climb up like there are in the big room!!  Anyhow, when I am changing someone Mia always comes running and stands there going, "oooooooooo"  This age group thinks that changing diapers is a spectator sport!  :)

Baby Cooper is quite the drooler so I keep a bib on him most of the time.  Mia didn't pester him today, but every other day this week that bib has been her personal challenge.  She'll try to get it off and one day this week she was successful!  She came packing it to me.  We had to get on her case to leave it alone because she was grabbing it from behind and just about had him hoisted off the floor.  :)  Yikes!

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Mia ate two servings of breakfast: cinnamon toast and grapes.  For lunch she ate most of her chicken strips, ate dinner roll, half of her hash browns, and ate canned cherries.

Here's a picture of Mia from yesterday at snack time.  I thought every one might like seeing her bow tie.  I put her bib around the outside of it so it was very noticeable.  :)

Mia had been watching Thomas and Aaron play like this on the couch so she had to give it a try too of course.  The boys were tucking their feet behind the pillows and then hanging their heads off the edge.  Mia actually did pretty well except she's obviously not as tall as them.

You know, I think Mia came and stood in front of me every time she had to sneeze this morning!  Well, maybe not every time.  I saw her sneeze in Lauralea's face too!  :)  But she got me the other 38 times!  :)  And her little nose was like a faucet in the 'on' position.

Nora was doing fast walking laps around and around the table.  So Mia had to join her.  She quickly was bored with that so she started crawling really fast instead!  She was able to keep ahead of Nora for a couple laps!  :)

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

Mia ate whole wheat bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ham, mac-n-cheese, lettuce salad, and corn.

Yesterday afternoon when we were outside Nora and Riley were on the little merry-go-round and Mia was pushing it around and around.  She's a tough little thing and she was doing a great job.  It really looked cute.  She was working hard and they were lounging.  :)

Well Mia and Nora were doing their hair-fixing thing again!  They always sit in the same spot and each have the same role.  Mia is the stylist and Nora is the client!  :)

Lauralea was massaging Mia's foot and Mia got this real dreamy look on her face and was getting relaxed.  I think she liked that!  :)  Lauralea asked her, "You like that?"  And Mia does this big 'Yes' head nod.

We had a kid's CD playing and I started being silly; clapping and dancing a little.  Oh man, Mia starts squealing and jiving around.  Have you seen her trying to kick one leg out while she's walking or dancing?  She started that and I've also seen her doing it several times outside while walking down the sidewalk.  Probably not the safest place to be practicing her stunts.  :)

She read lots of books, played on the climber and mattress, climbed in the 'block house' and took apart lots of legos.

Tuesday, April 9, 2013

Mia ate waffle and pears for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tuna and crackers, sweet potatoes, and oranges.

How's this for an attractive picture?  :)  She and Nora were standing on their heads having a grand time.  In the picture it's hard to tell if she's laughing or crying, but if you stand on your head and look at it you'll see that's she's laughing!  :)

Kenzie had lined up toys all around the outside of the table top.  Mia was inspecting it and starting to mess with them and Kenzie started yelling for help.  "Mia's breaking the table!  Mia's trying to break it again!"  :)  Then a few minutes later Riley (who's our one year old 'class room monitor') was pointing at Mia (who was climbing on top the table) saying, "Oh oh!  Oh oh!"  Poor Mia can't get away with anything!  :)

But she still tries!  She grabbed a plate from Nora and took off running across the room.  And dad will be proud to know that Nora had no chance of catching her!  :)  She was in 'Pester Mode' this morning.

All the kids were at the window watching some street workers fill holes.  They were thumping on the window, but the workers didn't hear them.

Mia was working on Nora's hair again today.  It's super cute because she does it exactly the same way the 'older' kids do it.  Their imaginary supplies are on the window sill.  So they reach up there for 'whatever' and work on the hair.  Then they reach up there again and work some more.  Mia was doing it the same way.  Then when Nora tried to leave Mia would grab her by the collar and sit her back down.  She needs to be more gentle with her clients!

Monday, April 8, 2013

Mia ate chex cereal and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate roast beef sandwich, drank half of her tomato soup, and ate apple pieces.

Here's a picture of doctor Joslyn working on Mia.  Can you believe she'll just lay there for Joslyn and Kenzie?  After a few minutes she started to whimper.  I said, "You can get up and play.  You don't have to lay there!"  Joslyn was being a bit too physical with trying to get her to lay down.  So we helped Mia, but she still wanted to cooperate with them.  Kenzie said, "We doctor her!"

She was playing on the climber and mattress.  She'd slide off the climber onto the mattress and start bouncing and squealing like she'd done something quite spectacular.  Which she had!!  :)  It was more of a 'slide off' the climber instead of climbing off backward like she usually does.  Next it will be stepping off and then the jumping off.  (She's going to love that.)  Almost as much as I will.  :)

She had fun doing some coloring at art time.  I was working hard too; trying to keep the paper under her marker!  :)  She still did a fair amount of coloring on the highchair tray.  For a second she had a marker in both hands and I thought this is going to get entertaining!

In the back room she was on her hands and knees pushing cars around the room with RaeAhnna.  She also played with the shape sorter buckets filling them with lots of toys.

Friday, April 5, 2013

Mia ate oatmeal and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hash brown casserole, half of her biscuit, and ate mandarin oranges.

Mia was in the big box with Kenzie and Joslyn.  They had their doctor toys and Kenzie was holding the stethoscope to Mia's chest.  She said, "We were fixing the Mia up!"  (They were also doing the same thing with Nora.)  :)

Well Mia and Nora were doing their hair-styling thing again.  I still find it incredulous that Nora will sit while Mia fiddles with her hair.  A bit out of character.  I have noticed that they usually do it when Lauralea is working on someone else's hair.  This morning it was while she was fixing Emily's hair.

Mia was trying to pull off baby Noah's shoes and socks.  However, he's basically a moving target and she didn't get the job done.  He reminds us of Mia at that age.  Constant movement and on the go.  I think Mia may have met her match!  Two peas in a pod!

When we are outside Mia is always trying to get into our chairs if we have them sitting out.  They are basically aluminum lawn chairs so they are light-weight and tip over kind of easy.  Mia had one on top of her yesterday.  That didn't faze her a bit; she came right back for more.  :)

Mia and Thomas were on the floor and she was lifting Thomas' shirt and he was saying, "Put shirt down!"  And of course they were giggling and having a grand time.  Over and over again.

Thursday, April 4, 2013

Mia had two servings of breakfast: whole wheat french bread and cantaloupe.  For lunch she ate turkey slices, crescent roll, pineapple, and dried mangoes.

Emily had went poop on the potty today and she was soooo excited.  And she was telling everyone.  She said to Mia, "I went poopy on the potty Mia!!"  Mia just kind of looked at her like, "Well good for you."  And kept on walking.  (Lauralea and I were congratulating Emily and making up for the kid's lack of enthusiasm!)

Mia was "working" on Nora's hair again sitting on the steps just like the picture I recently posted.  Nora would leave and Mia would try to coax her back.  She was holding out her hands doing the 'come here, come here, come here,....' with her hands.  And Nora did go back a couple of times.

Mia was riding in the spinning chair in the back room and Kenzie and Aaron were the pushers.  They had it spinning pretty fast and Mia seemed to be loving it.

She played with the airplanes, cars, the horn-honking toys, slinging my pillow on the floor, and experimenting with every possible thing she could find.  :)  Several times this morning before all the kids arrived she got up on the couch to sit between Lauralea and I.  That's one of her favorite things to do.  (In her list of Favorites.)

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Mia ate whole wheat toast and mixed berries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ham, crackers, bean & bacon soup, and ate kiwi.

I know I posted a recent picture of them doing some hairstyling, but I was a bit surprised Nora was totally cooperative with Mia.  (Who is a little inexperienced in the practice of cosmetology.)  Nora looks pleased and Mia is really concentrating.

We did some play with bath foam at art.  Don't worry about what you see on her face, it's non- toxic.  Except Nora thought it was quite toxic and didn't want to touch it.  Mia on the other hand thought it was snack time!!  I thought she'd quit putting it in her mouth when she tasted it, but apparently it's quite delicious!

It was pretty busy around here for about an hour this morning.  Well, busier than usual I should say!  :)  A Professor of Early Childhood Ed from Western Montana College and five of his students were here observing our program and asking lots of questions.  They were looking at three or four Preschools, but ours was the only Infant and Toddler Program they planned on observing.  We were prepared for them and we also tried to prepare the kids.  As usual Mia was not shy around all the strangers so that was good.  She did try to steal their notes and pester them a little.  :)  Ok, not just a little, a lot!!

I was helping Mia with some of her breakfast and lunch.  (like mixed berries, bean & bacon soup, etc..) She kept saying "want more, want more..."  Good job Mia!

Kenzie was giving her rides in the wagon which she totally loved.  Then Riley jumped in the wagon and joined them.  Which reminds me....I had baby Cooper in one of the wagons and Mia decided to join him.  Except she wasn't too aware of the fact she was crawling in on top of him.  :)

Tuesday, April 2, 2013

Mia ate whole wheat bagel and dried apricots for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles mixed with peas and cheese, and ate applesauce.  I fed her the applesauce and tilapia mixed together and she loved it.  I'm making that judgement by how she snarfed it down!  :)

Darcy, I looked at the clock when Mia came over and gave me her binkie today; it was 8:05.  Very shortly after you left.  She's using one right now at nap time and that's it for the day.

Baby Cooper was laying on the floor and starting to fuss.  I was in the kitchen preparing his bottle to feed him.  Mia went over and covered him with a doll blanket and was patting his back.  She was trying to fix the situation.  Thank you Mia.  Very cute.

Later she had one of the dolls wrapped in a blanket and was holding it against her chest walking around saying, "night night, night night, night night....."  Again, very cute.  :)  And sweet.

She was in Aaron's space in the back room while he was playing with the cars.  He started doing sign language for 'move back' and saying, "move back!!"  So of course Mia starts to mimic him (without moving back).  I had her listen to his words and move back, but I also thought it was quite hilarious.  "Me move back!  How about you move back!?!"

Several of the kids were thirsty so we got out the water bottles.  They all know where they are to sit and everyone was sitting on the step waiting.  Mia backs-up to the step and sits down without looking and plops on Emily's lap.  :)

Monday, April 1, 2013

Mia ate bran cereal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of cheese pizza, most of corn, and ate tropical fruit.

We did a toy and book exchange and Mia played with the food toys, looked at lots of books, and had a real good morning.  Here's a picture of Nora playing with the microphone and wanting Mia to sing too.

This is what Mia frequently does in the mornings.  She was snuggled up close to me while I was feeding baby Cooper and then as soon as Lauralea started feeding baby Reid she was right back up there.  Maybe she's thinking, "Those were the days!!"  :)

Mia was trying to take a toy from Riley.  However Riley has a big sister and is familiar with that kind of behavior.  She just turned around and ran in the opposite direction!  :)

Mia was also in Kenzie's 'bubble space' (that's what we call it) and Kenzie yells, "Gary!!  She's in my face!!"  :)

I thought it was funny when she was waving at you guys this morning.  She was totally staring off into space; but she was still waving.  A little bit.  :)
