Mia ate raisins and two servings of malt-o-meal cereal for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef with spaghetti sauce, whole wheat elbow noodles, lettuce salad, and two servings of mixed fruit.
Nora and Mia have been playing together a lot lately and they actually get along together quite nicely. (Relatively speaking, of course!) :) They do a lot of parallel (or side-by-side) play; not playing with the same toy (sharing), but similar play with similar toys. The whole "sharing thing" and "taking turns" comes later; hopefully by the time they are about 30! :) And here's a picture for an example!
Nora was upset because Mia was playing on the mattress with her shoes on. (The old "no shoes on the mattress" rule!) Nora had unhooked one of the velcro straps and was tugging on it trying to pull Mia's shoe off. Mia was just amused by the whole thing and was laying there with a grin on her face. :)
Then later I guess Nora just assumed that Mia should be about done with the binky. She went up and pulled it out of Mia's mouth and walked over and deposited it on the changing table. Mia only slightly protested so I just waited to see what she'd do. Within a few seconds Mia just strolled off and looked at some books. Ok, I guess that worked just fine. Thanks Nora! :)
We were playing outside and Aaron pushed the wagon and it was headed right at Mia who was just a few feet away. She side-stepped that wagon so quickly and easily! Lauralea and I both saw it and looked at each other and went "Whoa! That was impressive!" :)
