Mia had two servings of breakfast: cinnamon toast and grapes. For lunch she ate most of her baked chicken, ate dinner roll, hash browns, and canned cherries. (She loves those cherries.)
The girls were all very engaged with the food toys and playing at the table. They had the table all set and then they were cooking and eating. They went and got dolls and were feeding their babies and filling their purses full of food. :)
I was stepping forward and Coral was concerned that Mia's hand was going to be stepped on. Coral said, "Watch your fingers Mia!" And Mia started staring at her fingers. Way to follow instructions Mia! It always makes me laugh because we have so many phrases in our language that Toddlers interpret very literally. Every thing is 'black and white' at this age. :) (Which is nice to know when you're trying to tell them something!)
Mia's free drawing style always makes me laugh too. She was looking at the lights, out the window, at her neighbors, and continuing to draw at the same time. However, she wasn't just scribbling wildly, but she was making very deliberate marks and working at it. She also seemed to enjoy putting stickers on her paper.
And she makes me laugh outside too! Geez, I think I see a pattern developing here! She is such an opportunist when Riley or Nora are pulling the wagons. She races over and jumps in! This morning it was Nora's wagon, but at least Nora didn't yell this time! The primary reason I find that humorous is because she's by far the strongest of the group!
