Mia ate two servings of breakfast: french bread and cantaloupe. For lunch she ate turkey slices, crescent roll, green beans, and three servings of dried mangoes.
Nora and Mia were playing "Row Row" and having a blast! There's nothing better in the world than kids laughing and having fun!
I'd just announced, "Ok everybody, help me find Cooper's binky!" And this is what it looked like! It always makes me laugh because all three look in the exact same spot. Uhhh, we could spread out a little and cover the whole room! Riley found the binky a few minutes later laying in the middle of the room!
Mia and Nora were playing by the color chart and this time Mia was the "teacher." She was saying, "Show me red!" (While doing the sign for red.) Nora showed her. (Attention to detail is her strength.) I was enjoying watching this for several reasons. Primarily because Mia doesn't know her colors yet, but her strength is her language skills. She easily gave great instructions, but couldn't "show me red" when I asked. (Pointed to purple.) :)
Speaking of language skills; Mia invited Nora to join her in play several times this morning. Mia was the one who initiated "Row Row" and then wanted Nora to help her build a "Cooper cave, Cooper cave!" (Riley started calling it that and Mia picked right up on it.) Then Mia was sitting on my lap saying, "Walk walk…" It's a 'walk walk, trot trot, gallop gallop" game we do.
